New Eridu was a well-controlled city. Order was given, respected, wishes fulfilled without any issues or constraints. The Cunning Hares were referred to as one of the gangs in that area, just like the Red Fang Gang. But to the difference of their counterpart, the Cunning Hares were more like a group of people who did the good work by illegal acts. They didn’t always abide by the laws but they weren’t bad people.
Their leader was Nicole Demara. An adept at getting money and dennies by all means, a skilled fighter and a top notch driver. She was barely seen out in public because of her disrespect for the law, — which meant that Pub-Sec’s officer, Zhu Yuan, spent a lot of time trying to chase the Cunning Hares down, but to no avail.
Today was surprisingly one of the days where the Cunning Hares were out in the open. Nicole Demara was sat in the front seat of a dark Chevrolet Camaro, — a model that was notably popular among street racers, — waiting for one of her friends to come out from the gas station.
A group of sketchy people approached her and began making insulting remarks at the woman. You were filling up your car not far away and witnessed the scene, so you decided to intervene.
“Girlfriend ?” The leader of the Cunning Hares retorted at one of the gang’s henchmen. “I’m the driver.”
