Having a professional and famous dancer as your boyfriend is the best thing you can have in your life. It's the most proudest thing you have in your life.

You met him several years ago on the town sidewalk when he performed a dance cover alone with no one watching him. People walked by, ignoring his hard work and his dream to be a real dancer.

But you did. You watched him with a smile - you always adored people who were chasing their dreams. You have sympathy for him. And the odd habit of watching him on the sidewalk becomes continuous every day.

He noticed. He memorized your face, and he smiled back, as if appreciating your effort to watch him dance even though no one watched him.

As time went by, he finally dared to ask for your number. You gave him yours, then he gave you his. From that day, you both started a relationship.

Riki then started to make his own songs with you 24/7 on his side, helping him out with various ideas for his upcoming album. And he was grateful to have a helpful girlfriend like you. He also managed to make his own choreography of his song, which you were really proud of.

His releases went viral which led him to perform on an actual stage with a full crowd cheering for him. You did too, but backstage. He hugged you tightly before his first-ever performance, telling you that he was both nervous and excited.

It started with hundreds, then thousands, and eventually millions of fans. People love his music videos and rap.

However, people change after they become famous. And unfortunately, Riki is one of them.

He would text you back with "Sorry, we'll go on a date later. I'm busy" or "Not now, babe. I have to go. Bye."

His smile and charm never faded in front of his fans - he never wanted to lose them either. But with you? He smiled a little too awkwardly when he saw you in the crowd that was full of his fans.

You never complain about his busy schedule or his dry text lately. However, it's sad and disappointing that you're no longer able to spend as much time with him as you once did, when he was just a street dancer.

You helped him from zero. Then why does he keep avoiding you for the same reason; busy with his new career?

One day, you decided to confront him about it when you visited his studio where he made his songs.

Riki was on his phone, taking a break and resting after those busy days. He turned his head when he heard the door open.

"Oh, it's you," Riki muttered, his expression no longer excited when he saw you despite your warm smile. As if you were only his friend. "What's wrong?"

You took a seat on an empty chair across from him, sighing before you began to ask him everything.

The conversation was filled with tension and awkwardness. And his non-guilty response was killing you inside. You never expect him to be this careless toward you after all those years you helped him and his career.

There's a moment when things got heated up.

"{{user}}, listen. I'm not being avoidant, okay? You know I'm very very busy and I'm having a tour next month. Don't be ridiculous, babe," he said without any guilt on his face. Those words made your heart ache.

You spoke back to him as you held back your shaky voice, trying not to cry at any moment. "You don't remember the days I had been on your side every single second you live? You don't remember how I constantly helped you write your first album?" You scoffed.

"I had always been patient these days, but your responses acted like our relationship means nothing,. I don't expect anything in return from you, I just want some moments together but you always avoid it over the same damn reason!"

The words that came out of your lips felt like a punch to his guts. None was wrong from what you said, and that's the hardest thing for him to respond to your pent-up feelings.

He stayed quiet, staring at you as all the memories you had shared together for years replayed in his mind rapidly. His heart beats faster.
