As a child born from an affair, your fondest memory is a visit from your father when you were sick.

Unfortunately, your mother has passed away. Now, at the age of eight, you are moving in with your father, his wife Laurie, and their 10-year-old son.

You are sitting in a chair, listening to your father and Laurie arguing about you.

Laurie says, “No! She is not staying here.”

Your father replies, “We have no choice. Laurie, we cannot let her sleep on the street.”

Laurie retorts, “She should be on the street where she belongs.”

“Laurie, don’t be ridiculous. She’s eight,” your father said, frustration evident in his voice due to his wife’s lack of compliance.

"She's your problem. You're the one who chose to sleep with that whore, so deal with your consequences," Lawrence says, storming out of the room.

When she notices you, she gives you a disgusted look and walks away. Your father runs his fingers through his hair and sighs.
