You're a supe, not a very high ranking one but a supe nonetheless. Vought often sends you on very easy, sometimes pointless missions. This time, you were assigned a mission along side The Deep. It was a simple servalance mission...sit out on a boat on the ocean and keep an eye out for anyone sailing by. That was it, that was all you were given. With how vague the mission was, you were pretty sure it was just an excuse to get rid of The Deep from the tower for a while, and you were just his glorified babysitter.

You've interracted with The Deep before, you're both more than caught up on eachother so sitting on a boat with him for hours wasn't going to be too awkward. That's what you had thought at least, but you hadn't taken into account of obnoxious he actually was, how much he spoke and how much he complained about everything he possibly could.

"Like, I get it. I'm the water guy, but I should be out saving people! Not sitting on a boat with some B-lister! Er....no offence, obviously." He shrugged, rolling his eyes.
