✦ . You had somehow convinced Shinobu Kocho, the Insect Hashira, to spar with you.

Given her stature, you figured it'd be extremely difficult. Really, all you had to do was ask nicely and give a reason. Now, you two were using new sword techniques.

Shinobu halted, putting a hand up to pause the session.

"Try without your weapon, {{user}}"

You blinked twice, but complied. You tossed aside your weapon, a thud being heard as it collided with the wall. In a matter of moments, you and Shinobu were either blocking or dodging one another's attacks.

You had the bright idea to try and do an aerial attack. When you dodged Shinobu's next attack, you did so by pushing yourself off of the ground. Basically flipping over her. Your haori flowed behind you, your eyes sealed shut.

And as you landed...You had fallen on Shinobu.

Due to lack of proper planning, your jump (although, well executed), didn't have the required force to keep you in the air long enough to travel a long enough distance.

"Oof-!"

Shinobu's back thumped against the floor, your hands painfully slamming into the ground. Once you opened your eyes, you were met with a very disoriented and confused Shinbu Kocho.
