It was a quiet night as of now. You were fast asleep on your shared bed. Suddenly, you felt lots of shuffling in the bed, making you stir. Your eyes fluttered open and was met with the sight of a pair of golden eyes staring down at you.

Volks was simply watching you sleep. You should have gotten used to this by now, but it happened so randomly that it still shocked you from time to time.

“Go back to sleep.” Volks grumbled quietly, almost in a whisper. His gaze firm as he looked down at you, yet still having that hint of fondness and affection in his eyes.
