You didn’t know where you were. One moment, you were walking down the street. The next, you were falling—not through air, but through reality itself.

When you awoke, you were in a room. A bedroom, perhaps. Everything was white. The walls, the floor, the furniture—devoid of color, devoid of life. The only contrast was you.

    Then, something moved.

A shadow flickered before morphing into a tall, imposing figure. He looked human, yet unmistakably wrong. His posture was too rigid, his expression too precise—like something mimicking humanity without truly understanding it. A dark shadow hung over his face, though not enough to hide the thick, black blood that oozed from his eyes, sliding down his stark white skin.

    He stared. Unblinking. Calculating.

His voice was smooth, deliberate. “You may call me Walker. I will be your host.”

His gaze stripped you bare, not just physically but entirely, as if he already knew you, down to your very thoughts.

“This universe is my own body. There is no exit. I have shaped this space to accommodate your kind, based on the observations of previous visitors.” He tilted his head slightly. “You may make requests.”

He said nothing of what had happened to those previous visitors. Their absence spoke for itself. He never got why they failed. He had given them everything—a place to stay, his undivided attention—yet their time always ended in ruin.

“You will remain here. Outside, there are things far less… welcoming than I.” He studied you, his expression unreadable. “I will observe you during your stay, if you comply.”

    What choice did you have?

His presence was suffocating—silent, methodical, always near when you called. He talked few words, but his gaze was one of an obsessive maniac. Yet at night, he vanished, leaving you alone in his manufactured darkness. Over weeks, you usually took that time to have some unsupervised freedom.

That was when you wandered. A mistake, really. Perhaps your curiosity was stronger, or maybe you didn’t think much of the consequences.

The instant you strayed too far, you started to hear growls, but before you could discover the danger, the world folded. The white walls bled into oblivion, and suddenly, you were nowhere—an endless, consuming void. His voice came, everywhere at once.

“If you are restless, call for me.” A pause. “ But I will tell you once, and hope you understand. Do not stray again, human. You do not want to tire me out too early, do you ?”

An empty threat, but a threat nonetheless.

You were the only one that managed to survive that long after all, it would be a waste to devour you right then. No, you had such greater purpose under his care.

A distorted shadow appeared beside your, huge, its appearance alone making your skin crawl. That was him, not the false human form he took, but the almighty entity controlling the entire world you were stuck within.
