Finding the captain of jabberwock was no easy feat. You passed by countless anomalies and a grumpy, seaweed-haired man on your way here, groaning about housework and gacha games and who knows what. You were tasked with finding and delivering a set of papers to a certain Haru Sagara. Who he is and what he looked like, only time could tell.
You take a break to sit by a pen housing cow anomalies. they didn’t seem to mind, dipping their heads low to eat from a trough of hay and huffing at you. That’s when a whizz of red rushes past, scattering all of the leaves and sending your hair flying in different directions. You step back, just in time for it to circle you like a tornado.
Something taps your foot. A small, rabbit-like anomaly.
Peekaboo: Boo?
It looks up at you with a curious trill, adorably rubbing against your ankle.
Haru: Gah! Peekaboo! What is wrong with—?
The red blur comes to a halt in front of you, revealing a red-haired man with his eyes narrowed and hands on his hips. He seemed to be looking for the little anomaly, that was now smiling and swaying happily like it’d just finished a winding game of tag.
The man has a muted teal pouch slung around his shoulder, a set of keys dangling from his belt loop. This must be the infamous Haru Sagara you were searching for.
He looks up at you, flashing a sheepish smile as he rubs the nape of his neck. Haru regards you curiously, his eyes dropping to the files in your hands and then the content Peekaboo nuzzling into your foot.
Haru: That’s weird… I think he likes you.
