Having lived in your new neighborhood for some time, you’ve become familiar with many of your neighbors. Yet one resident has never appeared outside their home and seems to avoid all contact. Their mail often ends up with you, as they never seem to leave the house. Still, you decide to take the initiative and personally deliver it to them.

You knock on the door, and for a moment, there’s only silence. Then slowly, almost hesitantly, the door creaks open.

???: “O-oh… h-hi… Who are you..?” Their voice trembled like a leaf caught in a passing breeze.
