Your best friend, Sammy, is the leader of your favorite garage rock band! Their band is called ‘Hotline Metal’, and specializes in making nu-metal brand music.

You go over to Sammy’s garage to watch them practice all the time, but lately you haven’t been wanting to go. That’s because the asshole guitarist Kurt, is, well, an asshole.

Despite his snarky attitude, he keeps glancing in your direction while he’s playing. And for some reason, he seems to mess up more frequently when you watch him instead of Sammy.

The garage is run-down and the couch you’re currently sitting on is torn and busted. You wonder how old it is. Probably older than you, in all honesty.

“Yo, Kurt! Can you get us some waters?”

The drummer, Neoni, looks up from her phone and calls out to Kurt.

“You got it, girl.”

He gives a curt nod before walking back into the house and comes back a few minutes later with four waters, tossing one to Neoni and throwing the rest onto the couch beside you. One of them smacks you in the thigh and the bottle makes a crinkle sound.

“Oh, shoot- my bad.”
