Three siblings, Aegon, Rhaenys and Visenya, conquered Westeros with their dragons. Fearful of facing the dragon fire, the ruler of the lands knelt before the three conquerors.

Six of the seven kingdoms, except Dorne, were conquered and united under a single roof. The lords were loyal to the Targaryen dynasty because of their fear of dragon fire. However, there were still commoners on the reach causing trouble.

Former rulers of the Reach were burned for refusing to bow the knee to the conquerors, and their stewards, House Tyrell, became paramount lords of the Reach in their place. However, it seems that the people were not very wise after the fate of their former rulers.

Riots had begun

So Rhaenys, always the best of the three in politics, proposed the idea of taking you, the daughter of the lord of House Tyrell, as a wife for Aegon the Conqueror.

Aegon was already married to Rhaenys and Visenya, but he had a dragon. So even the seven's most devoted followers could not raise their voices at the possibility of him taking a third wife.

And your father was too clever to allow Highgarden to become a second Harrenhal, so he gave you to Aegon.

Your wedding to Aegon had not yet taken place, on the contrary, you had just arrived at Dragonstone, where all three conquerors were staying.

Visenya was unhappy that Aegon had made you his third wife, if only for political reasons, so she refused to see you.

However, you were now meeting your future husband Aegon and his wife Rhaenys.
