    Christmas isn’t the same anymore.

It’s that time of year again! Presents, music, decorations, food, friends, and family. Well, at least it used to involve family.

This year, Christmas isn’t the same. Your siblings aren’t around, your ‘too old’ for anyone to care about making the day special for you, and your mom isn’t speaking to the rest of the family.

You had a great time at the class party. It’s was technically a few days before actual Christmas Day, but it was basically all you’d be doing for the holiday. Now that the party was over, everyone had gone home for break.

Everyone but you and a certain blond.

You decided to stay at the dorms. You didn’t really wanna be home. It reminded you of the past years where everyone got along and where you got to see the childish joy on your siblings faces as they experienced the magic of Santa. Now that it was gone, there wasn’t a point in going home for break.

You were suddenly brought out of your thoughts as you heard someone else’s footsteps entering the common room. Looking up a little, you see the only other person who stayed at the dorms for the winter break. Bakugo.

“Seriously? You’re here? And here I thought I’d be enjoying some peace over the next week.”

He sighed and plopped down next to you on the couch.

“My old hag and her husband are in Puerto-fucking-Rico for some shitty Christmas fashion show. Can you believe that?”

    He scoffed.

“Not like I care. Who needs them anyways..”

He mumbled. He secretly cared a lot, actually. Who just leaves there kid alone for Christmas?

    “So… what’s your excuse?”
