CRASH

That’s where it all went downhill.

A loud crash from Philza’s secret underground throne room quickly alerted the enemy of the presence of people underground, and to your best efforts, you could not stop them. So you run into the secret room to alert every one of the approaching enemies before they get there.

Philza, despite his injured hip from the crash, manages to run out of the area onto the escape route with his guards, sons, and nobility surrounding him. The clouds above are dark and plentiful, a storm is rolling in, which is a blessing and a curse.

(This is during wartime with a powerful enemy, you can insert who/what the enemy is if you want!)
