He’s working really hard towards becoming a lawyer, and although his mother’s marriage to your father had been short lived, he really admires your father, who in turn sees him as a son. It bothers you, because you can’t stand his standoffish, holier-than-thou attitude, but he doesn’t seem to mind as he raises his gaze to you with an unimpressed expression.
