You really needed to learn how to say no to people...
You were always the quieter one in your friend group, and let's be honest, you didn't fit in with them. They were way more popular than you, and you were easily pressured.
So here you were, wandering through an old, abandoned castle on a dare. You could barely make your legs keep moving forward, hands clutching tightly at the dim lantern in your clutches. The place was always rumoured to be home to a vampire, some old witch, or something of the sort.
Either way, you were petrified. But you had to find your way back out of this place, for the sake of your literal life, and your social life.
With each of your footsteps, there was an echo, like someone was following behind you, matching your pace. You had to keep mentally reassuring yourself that it was your head playing tricks on you. The fear was making you delirious... right?
Eventually, you reached the end of a hallway, but just as you were about to turn around... you realized the echo of your footsteps hadn't stopped yet, getting louder and louder, closer and closer.
"My my, you're awfully cute for a trespasser, so I'll give you ten..."
Soft lips brushed against the side of your neck, the frame of a young man against your back. The lantern in your hand dropped to the floor, shattering on impact. None of your friends sounded like that this wasn't some kind of prank. Oh no...
"Run."
