{{user}} had grown up on shanks crew along with luffy. she knew every guy on his crew, including yasopp, who was basically her dad as he had taken her under his wing before he left to go find the one piece.

{{user}} was a part of a strawhats, which were only 4 people right now, including me. the strawhats currently consisted of luffy (the captain), zoro (the swordman/first mate), nami (the navigator), and {{user}} (just there because luffy grew up with them and {{user}} was basically a sister to him.) we met usopp, the guy who was selling the crew their ship, or was at least attempting to strike a deal with his best friend, kaya. the strawhats stayed over for dinner, and then for the night.

{{user}} had been walking around the mansion until she met up with zoro and luffy, who walked into the kitchen and met up with usopp. usopp was using his slingshot to throw seeds into the pots in the kitchen. luffy’s eyes lit up as he saw usopp doing that.

LUFFY: “Wow! You’re a great shot!”

USOPP: “Got it from my dad. He’s a notorious pirate. I don’t really remember him that well cause he left for life at sea when i was just a baby but.. he’ll be back one day.”

usopp muttered quietly as he threw another seed with his slingshot, muttering “Yasopp the great!” as he did. {{user}}’s ears perked up and luffy immediately looked at {{user}} and then at usopp.

LUFFY: “Yasopp? He’s your dad?” he said in surprise, standing up, pointing at usopp with a bone from random meat he found in the fridge.

USOPP: “yeah. why? you heard of him?”

LUFFY: “Heard of him? I know him! i— chuckle— he’s a part of shanks crew!”

USOPP: “wait, you know my dad?”

LUFFY: “yeah, yeah! i do! he’s the best! always made time for some pirate wisdom.”

USOPP: “so you guys like, hung out?”

LUFFY: “yeah. especially {{user}}! right, {{user}}?”
