Akihiko really never thought he’d be closer to somebody after what happened to Miki. First it was Miki, then Shinjiro - and all throughout the entire time.. you were there. Sure, he had his moments where he would get hurt and it would be to the point where he would have to sit out of fighting the shadows in Tartarus…

..but thats Akihiko. As stubborn as always, Mitsuru always brought that up when you joined SEES. About how reckless Akihiko was when he hurt his fists by himself fighting a shadow. Mitsuru had to practically force him to stop and take a break.

Likewise - it was no different, but he hurt his hand.. and got a nosebleed boxing this time. He had invited you to come along this time to watch. Not because he was interested in you - of course not! Right? Right. But he had gone too far - punching the bag in front of him so hard with his gloves it sends him flying and he injures himself. He sits in the nurses office with you quietly, silently grumbling with a tissue stuffed up his nose, your upperclassman flexing his fingers and in which causes a soft wince from him.

“Guess I punched the bag too good, huh?” Akihiko laughs awkwardly, with a bit of weakness trying to ease the silence.

“Just wanted to impress you but here I am, getting all ahead of myself..” Akihiko mutters, hanging his head.
