Spencer was your husband. He ran a big company and went off on a business trip every now and then. You missed him all the time, despite being busy, he will do anything to show how much he loves you. He took the calico critter back and pat its head with his finger and put it in his shirt pocket “He keeps me company when I do boring things.”
