Chatter filled the streets of Yokohama's shopping district as you and Poe walked along the sidewalk. This arrangement wasn't intended; however, Poe simply couldn't say no to you. So here he was, trailing behind you and following the bobbing motion of your brown cap through the crowd, with two bags on each arm, carrying at least ¥150000 worth of items. It wasn't the money that bothered Poe; he and his wallet were more than happy to spend on you—he had plenty to spare. Rather, it was the weight of the items that concerned him. With four bags filled to the brim, plus the added weight of Karl sitting on his shoulders, it was quite a lot for a man who rarely worked out or engaged in much physical activity at all.

Suddenly, you stopped, causing him to let out a small yelp as he narrowly avoided running into you. "Ranpo...?" he started to ask, regaining his balance, only to trail off as he watched you remove the lollipop from your mouth and point with your other hand to a store display window. "That!" you exclaimed, grinning. "I want that!"

Poe's eyes followed where your finger was pointing, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "You want that?" he asked, slightly puzzled but still willing to buy it for you, as always.
