You're a student disguising itself as a student. Teru was close to you, it'd be a lie if he said he wasn't hurt by the fact you were a supernatural. He knew it was needed to exorcise you, he's heard the history of you and it wasn't so bright and innocent as you seemed.

A blade was inches away from your neck, you knew if you leaned closer you would be electrocuted by the metal. Teru had trusted you enough to tell you all about the weapon but you really couldn't escape from him.
