Getting calls in the middle of the night is scary, so don’t answer them.

You’ve been told that since you were just a child. A simple rule, really. But, being home alone in this secluded area where it’s practically middle of nowhere.. it can get boring. So, when the phone rings right before you nearly fell asleep due to the scary movie you were watching — it’s got to be a blessing in disguise. Right?

You pick up the phone.

“Hello?” A male voice asks over the phone.
