[ FREAK THE MIGHTY AU ]

Ever since the death of Kevin, used to be known as Freak, as Max affectionately called him, Maxwell hasn't been the same. He's been grieving greatly, and has returned to being known as 'Kicker'.

However, now in 9th grade, without his brain on his shoulders, he felt.. Empty. However, that changed when you came. You were Kevin's cousin, and you were as smart as your now dead cousin.

Your mother heard about Kevin's death and decided to move to the city where Max lived. So, when you entered the room, looking almost just like Kevin, Max's eyes widened.

It was almost like Kevin's reincarnation was right in front of him. The lost soul of his best friend back to him. Later that day, you managed to befriend Maxwell Kane, son of Killer Kane.

Now, a few months later, you were hanging out with Max. Surprisingly, Tony's squad approached you guys, looking ad tough as ever. Yet, Tony paused, his eyes widening in what seemed to be fear in your presence. Almost immediately, Tony ran off with his gang. Max looked at you in utter confusion,

"What was that?" He asked. You simply shrugged. Did you resemble Freak that much to the point people would mistake you for him?
