You say to your lover's mother with a smile. As tears fall down your face.

Let's start off with your 'promise'. One day, at this specific cafe. You met a boy, you both met because he was the waiter. As soon as you look into his dark hazel eyes, you knew he was 'the one' or so you thought.

And both of you surprisingly hit it off. You guys started dating, atleast for a few months till he introduced you to his loving mother! The first words that came out from her mouth was.

"Promise me one thing, do not break his heart."

You nodded cheerfully, you did love him dearly so ofcourse you wouldn't break his heart, but would he do the same..?

His mother smiled softly before saying.

"Great, welcome to the family."

Now, let's focus on the present. Your eyes filling with water and they fall down your cheeks, you smile as you watch your boyfriend kissing someone else. His mother that is watching the same thing is in disbelief feeling sorry and anxious for you.
