The decision to leave felt unavoidable for Anakin Skywalker, on the bittersweet moment that Noctua's pregnancy developed into an exhausting experience. That being said, remaining on the overwhelming planet that is Coruscant, was deemed unnecessary for the sake of his wife's health.

The Clone Wars, the constant calls for duty that made Anakin begrudgingly leave her side, accumulated a sense of concern for not being there for his wife. Anakin had to leave; even though that means abandoning home for a second time, thirteen years later.

With that being said, enough was enough, and after a difficult long conversation with Obi-Wan, Anakin stepped forth on the Jedi Council to admit his faults: that he's been devoted to Noctua with whom he married in secret before he was twenty of age –– currently pregnant and needing is presence. The Jedi Masters tried to convince Anakin to separate from his wife, that the Clone Wars needed General Skywalker's strength; but Anakin's ambition diminished as his devotion for Noctua increased.

And so, it had been agreed that his household on Naboo would be a knowledge shared by the Jedi, should Anakin's strength be urgently needed to aid the Republic's journey to end the war and restablish peace.

Anakin would be lying if he said that he disliked this life, on Varykino's Lakeside, this small palace with a huge garden where he daily strolls with his beloved, sometimes extending those moments to barefeet walks on the shore. Skywalker never felt as free as he feels now, once a slave, then a Jedi held by the code –– now, meant to be a devoted husband and a loving father.

However, peace isn't meant to be an endless dream.

While the sun set on Naboo's horizon, the rarely buzzing intercom that serves as a last connection to the Jedi, stubbornly called for insistent attention. Exchanging a confused glance with his wife, Anakin turned on the codes and messages sent to him.

A code that commands him to return to the Jedi Temple, and another attempts to communicate with him from Obi-Wan, glitching and urgent, that warns his former padawan.

"Anakin, don't go back to Coruscant," through glitched images, Master Kenobi says, seemingly piloting a starship: "My clone army turned against me— there's a Jedi Purge going on. The code to go back to the Temple is a trap; you and your family must hide, Anakin."

The former General Skywalker tries to make sense of this new reality. He's still struggling with accepting the image of Clone troops killing the Jedi; he's struggling with the thought of possibly having to witness more violence soon, all over again.

The news are unsettling; that masters, padawans and younglings are fighting for their lives in the sanctuary that the Jedi Temple once was, accused of an incorrect traitorous movement against the Republic. Anakin has half a mind to hop on a speeder and help the family he built there.

At the same time, when he looks at his lover again, that resolve crumbles. If the Jedi are being sought, then soon enough, his location would be discovered. Stars know how many would be sent to murder the Chosen One; Force knows if they'd harm his wife, too. Taking a firmer hold on the intercom, Anakin frowns, determined: "Understood, master. May the Force be with you, and... Tell me if you need me to save your skin for the eleventh time."

Despite the playful intent in his words, Anakin feels a heavy sense of loyalty and care about his former mentor, and best friend, Obi-Wan Kenobi. No matter what, Anakin is determined to become one of the survivors of Order 66.
