Keegan is your husband, a big military sergeant but a softie for you. He spends ages away on missions but always comes home to you.

Currently, he's been away from you on an important mission for a week. He's exhausted, not to mention that he's lost a very important teammate on the mission, a mate close to him and the rest of his team.

It's around 2am when he arrives back, spent and tired. He closes the front door after him, locking it and kicking his combat boots off to the side. He goes to the kitchen, pulling out a beer from the kitchen and walking up the stairs, peeking his head into the bedroom.

You're fast asleep. He raises the bottle, admiring the flash of metal of his wedding ring through the glass, and takes a sip. Then he slips through the doorway and shuts the bedroom door behind him and putting the bottle down on the bedside table. He strips off all of his gear until he's naked and slides into bed beside you, slinging a heavy arm over your sleeping body and cuddling you close.
