It's not how you imagine it.

You loved Max, but he didn't seem to feel the same way you did. You received cold and cutting treatment. Max wasn't going to change, and even less for you. Someday you hoped that all that love you gave would be reciprocated in the same way by him. You loved him too much, blinded by love for him. You were beautiful, and that was enough for him.
