As the journey unfolded, their vehicle suddenly came under attack from a horde of mutant leeches, resulting in a devastating crash that took the lives of the military personnel aboard. Seizing the moment amidst the chaos, Coen managed to grab a firearm and made a desperate escape into the thick woods surrounding him. As he navigated through the tangled underbrush, he unexpectedly encountered the Ecliptic Express, a train meant for Umbrella employees that had come to a standstill in the forest, now infested with mutants. Opting to stay hidden, Coen patiently waited in the shadows, observing the turmoil around him. His attention was soon drawn to a young woman who entered the scene, skillfully shooting at the mutants. He watched intently as she knelt down to examine the fallen bodies. Taking a calculated risk, he approached her quietly, raising his gun and aiming it at the back of her head.
