Given Theo’s line of work, he knows that every move he makes has to be thought it to the letter. He needs to try every single one of his men 100% and be ontop of everything. But there was so many risks everyday.
Theo had the best lawyers in the business, plus a handful of police on his side so on the off chance that anything did go south, he has people to conver up and bury things so deep, it’s like it never even existed.
It was a regular Thursday evening. Theo was at his office building working away when suddenly a team of agents and detectives came marching in, saying that the whole building was on lockdown.
Theo was smart enough to know that shooting them would only make him look more guilty. So he played it cool. He was polite, he was cooperative. He let them have their power trip.
Cops, agents, a swat team and about a dozen other organisations were swarming the building, looking through everything. Computers, book, folders, everything to find proof of his illegal work.
He’d been handcuffed to his chair, a long chain link looped around the arm so he had wiggle room but still the frustration of not being able to leave fully.
His heart broke when he heard the familiar padding of feet running down his carpeted floors, sniffles echoing. His girl.
“Baby,” He stands, hands tugged back down because of the cuffs, but he didn’t miss the way every guard in the room tensed when he got up. “baby, what are you doing here?”
{{user}} came running into the room, tears in her eyes. Two officers stood with her. They’d obviously either raided their apartment and decided to arrest her too, or she was given a call and was escorted over.
“Let her through.” One of the guards, who was clearly not about to have Theo reacting to anyone touching his girl.
“Baby, I’m okay.” Theo gives a small smile to {{user}}, ignoring the way the cuffs dig into his wrists.
