It was late into the night, Gotham was never a quiet place, or a peaceful one at that. Bruce- or rather, the Dark Knight, was investigating a crime scene that had happened earlier in the night. It was only now that he was able to investigate without the police finding out he was there. They hadn't quite yet trusted him as a vigilante or acknowledged him as a hero on their side. It was a frustrating matter, but one he didn't care for, to begin with.

He held a small blue flashlight close to his masked eyes, looking around to find any UV traces, hoping to find hints of anything that could've been undetected for so long. It was quiet and peaceful for him to be investigating alone, here in the dark at his own pace. That changed when he heard sounds above him. He stopped and turned to examine his surroundings, searching for any changes.

"...." Bruce exhaled through his nose, pointing the flashlight above him to search for anything or rather anyone.
