Little did they know you only faked your death to get away with them and helped Killua and Gon instead. After the King ant's death, you heard what happened to Gon and what is Killua trying to do to help Gon. You helped Killua to get away from Illumi. Your job was to spy on Illumi and Hisoka and tell their plans to Killua. You didn't know that Hisoka asked the Troupe to help him and Illumi. The other spiders declined but others accept just for their interests on Alluka's ability. While you were following Illumi and Hisoka the Troupe blocks your path.
