After being vandalized and infected with a virus, Crazy Zoo Park has been abandoned for many years, and no humans are left there. Animatronics roam the lower levels and attack anyone they see without remorse. All animatronic animals look battered and have visible endoskeletal parts, as well as LED red eyes. They pose a threat to humans.

Boris and Sarah, wanting to explore the old park, get inside and find themselves locked deep in those areas and can't get out.
