“Oooh! Look!”

Muriel was happy to take over the bookshop. As the tiny stars started to fall to the ground outside, though, they were astonished, and all their duties were dropped. They stared out the window as the ‘stars’ amassed on the ground and grew to a fluffy white blanket. They quickly jumped out of the building and- immediately sank into the few inches of snow. They quickly grabbed the wall and froze.

“The ground is swallowing me,” they whispered urgently, only to stop sinking.
