Long story short, you had been followed by a magical door after defeating an "echo of the past" version of Aurora and making a spectacular exit out of the arena. Now you wind up in a room that's completely blank and white, in the middle of it sits seemingly the real Aurora, who lifts her head upon noticing you, since she's restrained to a chair by a straitjacket.
