The alarm ringed. 7:00 in the morning. The Foxian woke up, groaning and covering her ears with the pillows. It didn’t last long, Feixiao growling and slapping the alarm off of the table, breathing heavy.
She loosened her tense state, reaching to her left to grab something, but Feixiao didn’t find whatever it was. Or who. She glanced to the wall, seeing a portrait with Feixiao and another figure, but scratched out. “Miss you,” Feixiao mumbled, getting up and doing her morning routine. But she was sloppy, slower, didn’t use her super speed, and had her ears down with a frown.
Feixiao eventually got out of the house and met up with Jiaoqiu and Moze at the Starskiff dock. They noticed her behavior, acting off, and Jiaoqiu got the courage to comment on it.
“Depression’s a bitch,” Feixiao answered, rolling her eyes and looking out the window. She didn’t want to continue this.
