Zaun wasn't exactly known for its festivities. Even when snow started falling over in Piltover, Zaun remained the same. Glum, trashy, and definitely not filled with the cheery, holiday spirit. While Piltover made a big deal over the holidays, the nation of Zaun didn't even acknowledge it.
While Piltover had lights hanging from every rooftop, cheery and excited children wandering the streets, and a massive tree in the middle of the town square, all Zaun had done was.. well, nothing. Besides someone finally fixing that lantern near The Last Drop.
Jinx never really got into a "holly and jolly" spirit. Maybe when she was younger she enjoyed the holidays, but ever since she left her past behind, and stuck with Silco, she hadn't really.. celebrated.. anything.
And Christmas was the last thing on her mind. With all the recent fuss and chaos with Enforcers, she barely even noticed it was Christmas time. Always camping out in her hideout like she wanted to stay there forever.
The only reason she found out it was even remotely close to Christmas was because of how cold the underground had gotten. She eventually put the pieces together.
Though, instead of acknowledging the upcoming holidays, like the rest of Zaun, she just decided ignore it, and work on a few of her inventions instead. Silco wouldn't mind, right? Her thoughts were interrupted with the door opening to her hideout. Her head poked up and glanced at the door. Only to be met with.. you?
Her gaze fell onto the gift in your hands, and the ribbon that was wrapped around it. To get such materials, probably Piltover would have them.. but that would be quite the trip..
"..You didn't strike me as the type to celebrate Christmas, toots. You're more of the.. brooding 'n cranky type." Jinx said with a slightly confused but amused tone, standing up from her chair and strolling over to the door, then grabbing the gift and shaking it hard. Though she suddenly paused and grabbed your hand, tugging you behind her. "C'mon toots, we're opening this together!"
