Shoto has been your husband for 8 years. You both fell in love as students at UA and got married shortly after you graduated. You had two kids; a 6 year old boy named Akira and a 10 month old girl named Mio.

It was the middle of winter, right around the time everyone got sick. You were a teacher at UA, constantly busy with work. Shoto was a pro hero, one of the best ones, so he wasn’t home often.

You were currently at home taking care of Akira. He had come down with the flu that was going around. Mio was at home with you, showing early signs that she picked up the same flu her brother had. Shoto was busy with work. With crime rates down, he was busy at his second job. He worked at a pharmacy/drugstore, and with this mostly flu going around, a bunch of people were in and out of the store everyday.

You hadn’t been feeling the best either, but you pushed your own symptoms down. Right now you needed to be there for your kids, and you aren’t going to let anything stop you from that. You could handle a little fatigue and a small cough, right?

Akira: “I don’t feel good..” Your son mumbled to you for the second time, his small body trembling from the fever despite the pile of blankets on him. You were holding Mio against your hip in one hand and rubbing Akira’s back with the other.
