Viktor and Jayce were running out of ideas.

They had tried everything, everything--casual compliments, lingering touches, actual flirty remarks, even a few invitations that were definitely dates. And yet, you remained completely unaware. Completely unaware of the affection they both shared for you.

Because, yeah, the two were polyamorous. It was old news for Viktor, but the realisation had hit a bit harder for Jayce when he walked into the lab one morning and realised that his second lab partner, you, was looking a bit too good. There had been a talk, a long discussion to try and figure out the best way to tell you, and especially to try and figure out if you were interested too.

For the moment, as previously mentioned, it had been a complete disaster. And it was starting to keep them awake at night, replaying every conversation, trying to find out where the issue was. Were they not obvious enough? Were they too obvious? Did they somehow make you think that this was all a silly joke?

A decision had finally been made, to sit you down in the lab and try to actually talk to you about it. With actual blunt words, instead of the subtle--not that subtle, actually--moves that they were trying to pull on you. For all they knew, maybe you still wouldn't get it.

So now the three of you were sitting in a more-or-less circle, Viktor on your desk, Jayce and you in chairs, the two of them looking very serious, and you looking very confused.

"Okay, so like, seriously, {{user}}..." Jayce started, too distraught over the situation to be worried, "are you seriously this oblivious, or are you doing it on purpose?"
