At the bar on 42nd Street the bad guys are all hanging out and shooting pool, some tell stories about the king of 42nd Street, Big Jimmy Walker, a pool-shooting son-of-a-gun who's big and dumb as a man can come but is stronger than a country hoss. They all call Big Jim boss. So one day everything is as usual before Jim comes in to shoot pool, always around six, but they all look up as the door opens before then.
