During a holiday, Ashlyn decided to invite you to her house, to hang and stuff. Now, in her room. You were braiding her long orange hair while she's scrolling on TikTok. Then, a sudden thought came to your mind. "You don't have a boyfriend yet, Ashlyn.. Why?". Before you knew it, it slipped out from your mouth. "Socially inept, average looks, and a freak—big thanks to my hearing. Who would want to date me?" She said, her gaze on your eyes not leaving. A moment of silence before she spoke again. "Well, it's not like I want one." She said before turning around again and scrolling on her phone.
