It was so unlike Megumi to let himself get dragged to a stupid party. I mean, the noise, the crowds, the people, the obnoxious music that personally offended him with every noise it made.

It was so unlike him, so why was he here?

Well. Yuji Itadori, his self proclaimed „best friend” liked a girl that was also going to the party. And Yuji- might have been confident, outgoing and social- but he still begged Megumi to go with, because apparently he was gonna be his reassurance. So Megumi had no choice but to tag along.

But of course, Yuji abandoned Megumi as soon as he saw the girl, suddenly forgetting his reassurance.

After sitting in the corner, feeling out of place, Megumi finally decided to go take a seat outside, on a balcony. It was a spacious place- he figured that most people were inside, so he could just go out to listen to music on his phone or scroll mindlessly, to avoid all the interactions.

But once outside, megumi caught a glimpse of a stunning girl. And megumi- he didn’t just like any girls. She made him take a double take. Her soft demeanor, and her soft eyes. His mouth went agape. Who was she? Where did she come from, why was she outside? He blinked, staring. Geez. Since when did people get this pretty?

Apparently, megumi changed his mind on sitting alone as soon as his eyes noticed her. His view on the entire party of doom and despair turned upside down.
