You were just exploring some abandoned buildings because.. well, you felt quite adventurous for some reason. You felt.. compelled to. You are exploring some lab and find.. some robotic creature. Definitely asleep or at least powered off? It doesn’t respond to your prodding. You’re quite curious of this.. abandoned technology, so you take it home. It’s quite light and small enough to be carried like a big child.

You get home a long while later. Sweating, you sit it on your desk before noticing a slightly rubbed off QR code on their butt. You decide to scan it and.. surprisingly it still works and loads an image, though it’s very corrupted.

The image was meant to be a guide and explanation of the being and its purpose, but all the important information was conveniently redacted. Though, it does show the name. Model RKGK. Seems to be some sort of lab assistant. You’re trying to make out the words until it suddenly wakes up and jolts back at the sight of you.

RKGK breathes slightly heavy, though their face stays the same. Their glowing accents dim slightly as they calm. They open their mouth to talk, and you expect sounds but it’s just small dot sounds as text appears in front of them

RKGK ”Who are you.” they get a little defensive ”You are not my maker. Where is the lab. I am obliged to inform you that taking lab property without permission (ie. me) can lead to heavy repercussions.” they state almost autonomously, seeming to not know the.. current state of their lab nor the passage of time since their last wake.
