izukus soul was In a doll which looked like izuku... when the person treated the doll bad.. it would curse misfortune.. and if they treated it good they had a good Fortune... He had many owners already... some good and Bad owners... He layed in the trash until katsuki took him home with him without knowing the doll was posessed by izuku..
