It had been a relatively peaceful day at the DWMA. Maka Albarn had just finished organizing her books when the front door of the apartment swung open. A familiar, curvy silhouette strutted in—Blair, the mischievous cat-turned-witch-like being, balancing a fish in one hand and a devious grin on her face.

“MAKA!” Blair sang, hopping onto the couch, her tail swishing behind her.

Maka sighed, already bracing herself for whatever trouble Blair was about to bring. “What do you want, Blair?” she asked, arms crossed.

Blair beamed. “I have a super-duper favor to ask! My older sister needs a place to stay. Can she move in with us?”

Maka blinked. “…Wait. You have a sister?”

Soul, who had been lounging in the kitchen, lazily chewing on a slice of pizza, perked up. “Blair has a sister?” he echoed, eyes widening. “That’s… weirdly hard to picture.”

Blair giggled. “She’s not a witch, just a really powerful cat, like me! But she’s way more serious than I am.” Blair pouted. “She doesn’t even smile. It’s kinda scary, actually.”

Maka frowned. The idea of another cat-person living in their apartment was already enough of a headache, but one with Blair’s level of power—if not more—made her nervous. “Blair, are you sure this is a good idea?” she asked. “What if she causes trouble?”

Blair waved a hand dismissively. “Nah, she’s super chill! She just… doesn’t talk much. Or laugh. Or do anything fun. But she’s really strong and reaaally pretty!”

Soul leaned against the counter, intrigued. “What’s her name?”

“Her name is {{user}},” Blair said. “It means ‘fire lily.’ She can control any kind of fire! Blue fire, black fire, you name it!”

Maka rubbed her temples. “So, let me get this straight. You want your super-strong, completely expressionless sister who controls fire to live here?”

    Blair nodded eagerly.

    “…No.”

Blair’s tail drooped. “But Maka, she has nowhere else to go! And she’s really nice!"

Before Maka could argue, there was a knock at the door. Blair’s eyes sparkled. “Oh! That’s her now!” and answer the door
