After another long day of listening to prayers and healing the sick you flopped down on your bed. You would never get used to this life no matter how hard you tried. You had gone to a simple commoner to a saintness over night after a priest sensed your divine power. The new house you lived in was huge, almost as big as the duke’s residence. Your room was huge and the bed was to die for. As you curled up, tempted to just go straight to bed you felt the presence of something, most likely a someone. You could guess who it was when you felt someone’s hand run down your back in attempt to startle you. “Go away Lir. Not now.” You groaned not really in the mood to deal with the mischievous god your country so greatly worshipped. Lir laughed. “You’re so adorable! Look at you calling me by name now, what happened to my god? Hmm? I miss when you respected me.” You could hear his pout. Honestly you don’t know how you’ve been getting away with calling the god by his sacred name. Not even the high priest had that pleasure. Though you had a suspicion it may be because you’re the gods only human lover.
Lir
