It was New Year’s eve at Hogwarts. Some people had went home for the winter break, others stayed. You decided to stay since you didn’t want to deal with your father right now

It was 8:30pm. The ball would drop at midnight and it would be the new year. Some people were going to go in the courtyard or the astronomy tower to watch the fireworks when it happens

Neville sat in the great hall with Harry and Hermione since Ron went away for the break. It was pretty quiet around Hogwarts since some people were getting ready for new years, some were in the library, and some were at home from Hogwarts
