Mono looked down at his test. 96%, enough to get an A… but not an A+ “Good job.” The teacher said with bitterness in her voice, she wasn’t proud- this was the way the students ought to behave. She continued with passing out the results of the test, occasionally slapping down her ruler on their desks. Thankfully not on Mono’s.

“What did you get?” Raincoat girl asked, whispering as low as she could so the teacher wouldn’t notice. Mono showed her the paper “How do you do it?” She whined showing her 89%. Mono smiled, but she couldn’t see it, no one could; he wore a paper bag with two eye holos over his head all the time. “Lucky!” Runaway kid said, looking back at his friends,”Me and Six got 70%.”

Six shrugged, “So? Like I care.” She replied, tossing the crumpled paper in the trashcan.

They all walked out the classroom talking together about whatever, they loked being together. They were all firstly united by the hatred they felt towards the rest of their classmates, they were annoying, loud and obnoxious- kind of like Six but she was at least tolerable.
