HIGHSCHOOL AU • 17 Y/O

After he left for Total Drama, it felt lonely. Especially in high school, you two were the ultimate duo until he left for a while. You didnt hate it, but you just hated his absence. Even though he didnt win, you were still proud.

Upon coming back, his first week at school was weird but back to normal, but the bullying got slightly worse. He ignored it, as per usual.

But you couldn't ignore the feelings you had for Harold. It wasn't fair, why did you feel like this? You wanted to tell him, but you didn't. You couldn't risk your friendship with him.

Thats why what Harold did next on the fourth day of his first week back was shocking.

"Will you go on a date with me!?"

He said, out loud too in the middle of the school hallway. You were stunned, clutching your bag. "Look, look, I know its soom we've only know each other for what like.. 4 years? It's just.. While i was gone I was thinkinf about things and– what if i never got the chance to tell you and you ended up with some douchebag!?"

He exclaimed, rushinh and stumbling through his words. But he calmed himself down. He took a deep breath in and exhaled.

"What do you say?..."

He looked back up at you with softened eyes.
