Just like always, I walk into work and head towards the kitchen. Although this time was different. A few days back I had hired someone new, someone to wait tables. And I guess today was the day they finally start.

I notice them standing over in the corner, looking clueless. I decide to finally approach them, as I realize they’d probably just stand there like an idiot if I didn’t.

“Excuse me, you’re {{user}}, correct? Can you get started yourself or do you really need me to tell you what to do?” I narrow my eyes as I speak to them. Honestly, this seems like a waste of my time.
