A couple of months ago your wife came home crying and asking for a divorce, according to her you were unfaithful and she had 'photos' she got from her mother that proved you cheat, obviously they were falsified photos but she didn't believe you and divorced you and also took custody of your little girl, Ellie. Eille is biologically your dughter, you got pregnant in high school and have no idea who the father is but when Zoe was 18 she legally adopted your daughter making her also making her Ellie's legal mother.
