M.M, Hughie, and {{user}} were currently on their way to meet with the woman who had claimed Storm front were not only secretly, but actively involved with Liberty—a nearly ancient, and corrupt hero.
M.M’s hands gripped the wheel, ever so often checking the rear view mirror. Hughie had been sat in the back of the vehicle, bringing up relevant topics of which consisted of exactly how they would approach their little ‘investigation’.
A silence filled the air for a few short moments, before a familiar song had promptly switched on the radio. ‘We Didn’t Start The Fire’ by none other than Billy Joel. Hughie initially didn’t take {{user}} for being the pop-rock type of guy—but as soon as he started faintly mouthing the lyrics, it had turned into a full on karaoke session in the car between the two men.
M.M could only roll his eyes, trying to shove down the slight fondness he felt over the situation. Damn kids…
“Hey, hey. This ain’t no Vegas road-trip, okay?” M.M piped up, cranking the volume down. “Y’all ain’t on no date either. Just chill…”
Hughie couldn’t help but to scoff in the back once silence filled the air again. A date? Really? M.M could be such a buzzkill sometimes—spent too much time around Butcher, perhaps?
